A very merry unbirthday

A lot of Carsyn's friends at school have had recent birthdays. As a result, she absolutely insisted on Thursday that it was her birthday. She wanted a party, and pink cake, and presents. Cam and I tried telling her not so much, but she wasn't hearing it. I finally broke down and made her a cake but had to re-explain several times that no party was coming just yet. She ate her cake and sat on the couch singing happy birthday to herself. Got to admire a girl who knows how to get what she wants!
