Camden had a school project that required her to make an instrument, and even though we have had the assignment for 2 weeks, it looks like I am a procrastinator not just when it comes to myself but also when it comes to my kids. Meaning - we started working on this today. I decided on coffee can drums, thinking it would be super easy and we could knock it out, but well - that didn't go over very well. So Marty spent some time with everyone's best friend, Google, and the two of them ended up making African tambourines. They are so cute, and it was a fun project for the 2 of them. I guess all that beer we drink comes in handy after all - since the project required metal bottle caps (we did paint them, of course!)! ;o)

Hey Mr. Tambourine Man
