Home for the holidays

We had a great trip home for Christmas where the girls got some much needed time with Marty's family. Although Carsyn was sick the entire time and less than friendly to pretty much everyone, it was a wonderful, relaxing time. I love where we live and am so happy here, but going home is always a little bittersweet. It makes me sad that we are so far from Marty's family, and it makes me miss my friends. Speaking of which, here is my favorite story from the trip. My best friend Tracy comes to visit and brings her son Corbin (5), and the twins, Ashby and Shelby (10 weeks). Anyway, I am sitting on the floor with bug, and Corbin says, "Well, the thing that really freaks me out about her is her eyes....cuz....they kinda look like Bugsy." For those of you who have seen Bedtime Stories, he would be referring to the hamster with golf ball sized eyeballs. Hilarious. Once again...out of the mouthes of babes!

Sweet baby girl...and yes, she does have very big eyes!!!
As always, my peas in a pod....

Camden, Corbin, Carsyn, and Tracy and Collen's twin girls.... I think one of them is my favorite until I hold the other one. They are so adorable, but God knew what he was doing when he did NOT give me twins. I don't know how she does it!!!
