Cam just finished horse camp. She has been looking forward to this for months...ever since I told her she was going to get to go. Her best friend Savannah went, too - and every day, I got to hear stories about Charlie Reese, their adopted horse for the week. We're already planning another week for her to go back.
At the end of camp, they get to have a little show for the parents. The big events included turning the horse around in a semi circle and then heading into a trot. Serious excitement.
Look at my girl with her Texas boots. It just makes my heart smile.

After the big show, the girls got to go visit the horses and give them some treats!
Carsie loved the horses. Wasn't even a little bit scared.
These last 2 are my favorites. Camden and Savannah are peas in a pod. Those girls are together all the time and are so happy and comfortable together. This picture makes me feel like I am staring at them 5 years from now......the beautiful bond of childhood best friends.
